Black was really the new black with sheer gothic fabrics, deep plum lipstick and drastic feather detail rife amongst the collection. With black the predominant colour, blocks of blue and red comprising the tartan skirts, scarfs and shirts also made a subtle appearance. Big crimped hair framed the faces of the mini prom dress adorned models and platform heels are seemingly still in.
With front row Lily Allen already sporting the new must-have lip colour and donning Luella’s florals the dark-side way, the British high street will, no doubt, be selling out of Bartley style tartan, full skirts and crimping irons in no time.
