Obvious influence was drawn from global and ethnic references, from paisley to fringed hemlines and patterned love heart tights to tribal jewellery, and the overall effect was an eclectic mix match of visual beauty. Hair was worn long and straight, reflecting Sui’s global hippie vibe, and make-up kept simple and au natural. Animalistic fabrics, such as feathers, and necklaces and headbands bearing flowery symbols of nature continued the global theme throughout the collection, which was one of free flowing and colourful fabrics.
There was no mistaking the overriding theme of the evening and with easy to wear Indian style floor length dresses and colourful tights to keep our legs warm (yet stylish) during the winter months, the fun projected through Sui’s collection will be sure to follow through into our wardrobes.
